About The Role

As an Estate Safety Officer, you will carry out fire alarm and emergency lighting testing, site inspections and other compliance activities, to establish and maintain appropriate robust and reliable systems. You will be ensuring that our landlord’s obligations are met and our properties are compliant in meeting all appropriate regulatory and legislative requirements. You will work closely with the Compliance Inspections Team Manager to ensure effective safety arrangements are in place.

This is a field based role, covering the Plymouth area.  You will have a company van, therefore a full, valid driving licence is essential.

About The Candidate
To be considered for the role of Estate Safety Officer, you will :
- Have clear and demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety and Asbestos legislation pertaining to the construction industry including HHSRS.
- Have a knowledge of Fire Regulations/Legislation.
- Hold the IOSH Managing Safely certificate or NEBOSH.
- Have experience of working on fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
- Have excellent attention to detail with good written and numeracy skills.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to forge good working relationships with colleagues.
