About The Role

As a Business Systems Analyst you will be part of our Application Services Team based in our office in Exeter and take a leading role in projects to introduce, configure and implement new systems and IT services to meet the evolving needs and expectations of our colleagues and customers.

 Initially you will be taking a leading role in a project to build and establish a cloud hosted information management platform, designing and building data pipelines to transfer data from legacy systems.  Therefore an attention to detail and excellent database, data management and manipulation skills through programmatic methods is essential.

There will be some travel required as part of this role and therefore a clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.  There will also be an occasional need to work outside of normal office hours.

About The Candidate
To be considered for the role of Business Systems Analyst, you will:
 
  • Have a strong background in IT Systems Implementation and delivery
  • Have demonstrable experience of managing Databases, Data Warehousing and writing SQL and ETL routines
  • Have experience of requirements gathering and business analysis techniques and methodologies
  • Have experience of project management and working within a project team environment
  • Have knowledge and experience of at least one programming language
  • Have an understanding of API and web technologies
  • Have a good level of general IT knowledge and experience
  • Be a good communicator able to elicit ideas and convey information in a clear and concise manner
  • Be self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision and guidance taking ownership of issues and seeking resolutions
  • Be a good organiser able to mentor and guide others in order to achieve positive outcomes
  • Have knowledge and experience of Housing Management Systems and/or Repairs and Maintenance Systems (D)
  • Have knowledge and experience of Salesforce development (D)
  • Have knowledge and experience of Robotic Process Automation (D)
