About The Role

As a Scheme Manager in our Leasehold and Commercial Services team, you will provide a scheme based support and administration service for all residents at the scheme in Dawlish.

You will carry out site inspections, arranging for any appropriate action to be taken to maintain premises to a high quality and safe standard, while providing an emergency call service to residents (whilst on duty) and offering emergency assistance when required. 

On a day to day basis, you will act as the first point of contact for customer queries. You will welcome new residents into the scheme and maintain regular contact, offering information and guidance when needed. You will be liaising with internal and external contractors, medical and support services and our customers' relatives therefore, you will need to have the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.

This exciting role is being offered on a part time basis, working 8 hours per week. The hours and working pattern are negotiable.

About The Candidate
To be considered for the role of Scheme Manager - Leasehold and Commercial Services, you will be / have:
 
  • Experience of using MS Office suite.
  • Experience in a customer facing role.
  • Working with Warden Call Systems (D)
  • Working knowledge of Social Services and Support Agencies (D)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage own workload priorities effectively.
  • Ability to make decisions confidently in order to resolve issues and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Applies a practical approach to problem solving taking practical steps where required in order to achieve successful outcomes for estate and customers.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations calmly, professionally at all times taking proactive approach to avoiding confrontation.
  • Ability to work to conflicting priorities and deadlines in a busy, fast paced environment.
  • Good interactive skills and demonstrates ability to build and maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues.
