About The Role

Are you a talented IT professional with a range of skills and a passion for delivering enterprise application systems projects? If so, we have an opportunity for you to be part of our exciting IT transformation strategy at LiveWest.

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be part of our IT Application Services team and take a leading role in projects to introduce, configure, and implement new solutions to meet the evolving needs and hopes of our colleagues and customers.

This role spans from initial requirements gathering, through process and solution modelling, to introduction and maintenance of our systems. As such your business analysis and facilitation skills are just as important as your technical expertise.

You will be involved in a wide range of projects and initiatives, including housing management, asset management and repairs systems, amongst others.

This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis. You can be based in any of our 3 main offices; Tolvaddon, Exeter or Weston, with a flexible hybrid working style as an option.
There will be some travel required as part of this role and therefore access to your own vehicle is essential.  There will also be a very occasional need to work outside of normal office hours.

About The Candidate
To be considered for the role of  Business Systems Analyst, you will:
  • Have a thorough and logical approach, with an attention to detail.
  • Have a strong background in IT Application Systems implementation and delivery
  • Have experience of requirements gathering and business analysis techniques and methodologies
  • Have demonstrable experience of managing and maintain SQL Databases, including writing SQL to interrogate data.
  • Have experience of project or work package management, and working within a project team environment
  • Have a good level of general IT knowledge and experience and be comfortable working in a Windows server environment.
  • Have experience of integrating systems and an understanding of APIs and web technologies.
  • Be a good communicator, able to elicit ideas and convey information in a clear and concise manner for both technical and non-technical audiences, including producing clear and concise documentation.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision and guidance; taking ownership of issues and seeking resolutions.
