We have an exciting opportunity for an Estate Officer to join us and  play an integral part in the wider Supported team.

On a day to day basis, you will undertake minor work and repairs, cleaning and decorating, liaising with external teams and contractors and ensuring that properties are maintained to a high standard. You will work collaboratively with other colleagues and external bodies and ensure that appropriate, timely and comprehensive service is delivered.

You will need to work flexibly, reactively and responsibly. as you will not be working with people who fit into a 9-5 framework.

This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis and is field based the West Cornwall area.

About The Candidate
To be considered for the role of Estate Officer,  you will have the skills, knowledge and experience required for a Level 1 - Team Member role, along with the below role specific requirements:-
 
  • Experience of gardening, cleaning, minor maintenance repairs and/or decorating; experience in all is not essential but must be willing to undertake them in the role.
  • Shows an awareness of personal health and safety and of those around you.
  •  Experience of checking petty cash and keeping notes which will act as reports (D).
  • Experience of assisting customers and providing excellent customer service.
  • Experience or confidence to liaise with contractors and sometimes act as the main point of contact between them and the customer.
  • Ability to work using own initiative.
  • Remains calm under pressure.
  • Good customer service skills; showing an understanding of what customer care is.
  • Shows a positive attitude and takes pride in work.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build good relationships with customers and colleagues.
