Do you have experience of Damp, Mould and Condensation? Are you looking for the next step in your career? If so, this could be the role for you.
 

As a Remote Diagnosis Damp and Mould Technician you will be at the forefront of diagnosing damp and mould problems in our customers’ homes. You will use our video assisted software package, TechSee to provide virtual diagnosis and a maintenance service that meets our specifications and customer expectations.

We have one position available, being offered on a full timepermanent basis. You will be based in our Exeter office. A hybrid working style is an option with 2 – 3 days in the office each week.

About The Candidate
To be considered for the role of  Remote Diagnostics Damp & Mould Technician, you will be able to  / have:
 
  • Demonstrate LiveWest’s values and behaviours, be open minded and creative and provide a solution approach to problems and situations.
  • Damp, mould and condensation experience.
  • Proficient with IT and new technology
  • Hold a core trade, or surveying qualification or experience, or you will be working towards a relevant qualification.
  • Ability to diagnose basic building faults and defects.
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service, with excellent communication, rapport building and problem solving skills.
  • Practical experience of working in the construction industry and/or in the social housing sector.
  • Full understanding of the Decent Homes Standard as well as the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (D)
  • An excellent team working ethos, enhancing the skills of others.
  • Health and Safety qualification or experience (SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH Construction Certificate) - (D)
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in a core trade or surveying (or equivalent). CIH Level 2, 3 or 4 or equivalent (D)
All criteria is to be considered as essential unless listed as Desirable - (D).
