Due to an expansion in the team, we are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join us.

You will be responsible for managing the day to day operations and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality fault rectification, maintenance and home improvement service. This includes electrical response repairs, voids, installations, electrical testing and complaints.

You will work collaboratively within and across the business and be the first point of contact for electrical related queries for our customers. You will also manage third party suppliers and contractors to deliver the outcomes for our customers. You will deliver end to end people management - ensuring we have the right people, in the right place, doing the right job, to ensure that we exceed our customers’ expectations every day.

This role is field based and can be based across the Exeter, Bristol and Somerset area, depending on your location. This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis.

To be successful in your application for the role of Electrical Supervisor, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 2 role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience:

• Experience of working in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience of managing teams in a domestic environment.
• Management of external contractors.
• Experience of working within tenanted properties.
• Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads.
• Proven experience analysing and diagnosing complex problems and implementing effective solutions.
• Working knowledge of application of health and safety legislation.
• Proven ability to effectively recruit, manage and develop colleagues.
• Understanding of KPI’s.
• Good communication skills including clear written and spoken English.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills.
• Ability to extract and interrogate data from computer systems.
• Good level of PC literacy - able to use and update computerised devices (including Handheld smartphone or Tablet PC).

Professional/Vocational/Academic Qualifications:

• Post qualification experience.
• Core apprenticeship 2360 parts 1 & 2 or equivalent (NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds).
• 2391.
• AM1.
• AM2.
• Desirable: 18th Edition, EV, PV (Photovoltaic), EESS.
