Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Accurate Records: Administer and maintain both electronic and manual records to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements.
  • Coordination of works: Planning of works using the scheduling systems for operatives’ diaries.
  • Process Adherence: Ensure all relevant processes and procedures are followed meticulously to meet our compliance standards.
  • Risk Analysis: Analyse data to identify and resolve potential risks to the business, ensuring the safety of our customers.
  • Effective Communication: Handle communications with customers, especially in challenging situations, to provide clear and professional support.
  • Collaborative Work: Work collaboratively across the business to establish and maintain effective working relationships, contributing to our overall objectives.

This role is being offered on a full time, fixed term basis until October 2025. You will be working 37 hours per week. Hybrid working is available for this role working 2 - 3 days per week in our Exeter, Tolvaddon or Weston-super-Mare office, dependent on business need.

About The Candidate

To be successful in your application for the role of Coordinator – Fire Safety Compliance, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 1 role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience:

  • Good understanding of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel (filters, basic formulas).
  • Planning experience.
  • Experience of using information systems and databases.
  • Pro-active attitude with ability to make measured decisions based on own initiative.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure and persevere to ensure issues are handled and concluded in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates behaviours that support delivery of great customer service.
