Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide confidential administrative support to the People team, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across our systems.
  • Be the first point of contact for colleagues and managers, resolving queries and offering guidance with a customer-focused approach.
  • Administer employee benefit schemes and support the delivery of HR services across the organisation.
  • Maintain high-quality colleague data to support strategic decision-making and compliance.
  • Support People Services projects and initiatives, contributing to the success of the wider team.

 This role is being offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis until February 2026. You will be working 37 hours per week. Hybrid working is available for this role, working 2–3 days per week in the Exeter office, dependent on business need.

About The Candidate

To be successful in your application for the role of Administrator – People Services, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 1 role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience:

Essential

  • Experience of delivering administrative tasks.
  • Experience of using integrated information systems and databases with a good level of IT knowledge including MS Office suite.
  • Understanding of great customer service.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and persevere to ensure processes and queries are handled and concluded in a timely manner.
  • Ability to plan own workload; manage competing priorities whilst maintaining a high quality of work.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring consistency of approach across LiveWest.
  • Well-rounded organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Demonstrating a flexible attitude and taking responsibility for personal development and growth within the team.

Desirable

  • Experience of delivering HR support to colleagues and managers.
  • Knowledge of reporting practices and procedures.
  • Experience of using HR information systems and customer relationship management systems (i.e. iTrent).
