We are seeking an innovative and energetic colleague to join us in the Learning and Talent Team. The role will work as part of the Learning and Talent Team and closely with the Leadership Development Manager, developing and delivering content to leaders at all levels of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Designing and creating engaging and impactful content for leaders at all levels of the business
  • Scheduling and organising  learning activity with a particular focus on leadership, coaching and 360 programmes and processes.
  • Facilitating workshops and training sessions
  • Measuring and reporting the impact of leadership development activities

The role offers hybrid working with time in the office or working at home to meet business needs. Learning and Talent team members are based at all of our 3 main offices located near Exeter, Weston-super- Mare and Tolvaddon and the successful candidate can nominate their preferred base. 
 
 We provide development to colleagues in all area of the business across the geography so the role holder will be expected to travel as required. A car allowance and travel expenses are payable to this role.

About The Candidate

To be successful in your application for the role of Leadership Development Advisor you will have the essential skills and experience for a level one role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience:

Experience
 
  • Knowledge of adult learning approaches and experience of 70:20:10.
  • Ability to design effective leadership development content.
  • Able to complete development needs analysis and link all needs back to the agreed strategy and talent and succession plans.
  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to deliver both personal development and technical content.
  • Knowledge of 360 and appropriate use of psychometrics and feedback assessment tools.
  • Coaching/mentoring experience.
  • Experience in a leadership/management role (not necessarily paid experience).
  • Ability to critically evaluate the impact of learning and development activities.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Up to date knowledge of leadership approaches and holistic methods of leadership development.
  • Experience of using learning platforms and management systems.
  • Full UK/EU driving licence.
Qualifications
 
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience, in leadership development or organisational development or related area.
