About The Role

We are looking for Relief Support Workers to work in our complex mental health service in Bristol. You will be working as part of a larger Support team to provide support services to people who have a history of mental ill health and substance misuse issues. The role includes supporting people to manage their tenancy, understanding benefits and encouraging positive life skills like budgeting, wellbeing and social inclusion.

You will be working day shifts on an adhoc basis. You will support and monitor the conduct, health and safety and general welfare of residents with a flexible and sensitive approach. 

 This role is being offered on a relief contract basis, working flexibly to include days at the scheme as and when required. Some times there will be other staff on site but you may also be required to lone work at times on site.

About The Candidate

To be considered for the role of Relief Support worker, you will:

  • Ideally have experience of lone working.
  • Have the ability to assess and manage risk.
  • Be able to demonstrate the skills required to support individuals.
  • Be able to demonstrate and understanding of adult vulnerabilities in a supported housing environment.
  • Have the ability to adopt a methodical, organised approach to work.
