As a Graduate Data Analyst and Researcher, you will play a key role in improving how we capture, store, and process service charge data. Your insights will help us deliver accurate, regulation-compliant information to our customers and support smarter, data-driven decisions across the business. 

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Data Collection & Analysis – Gather, clean, and analyse service charge data, spotting trends and opportunities for improvement.
  •  Research & Benchmarking – Investigate best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  •  Process Mapping Support – Document and visualise current and future processes for service charge management.
  •  Reporting & Insights – Create clear reports and dashboards for stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  •  Stakeholder Engagement – Support workshops, interviews, and data-gathering sessions with internal teams and partners.
  •  Continuous Improvement – Share ideas to make our processes more efficient and customer-focused.

This role is being offered on a full time, fixed term basis until December 2026. Hybrid working is available for this role working 2 - 3 days per week in the office, dependent on business need. The successful candidate can be based in our Exeter, Tolvaddon or Weston-super-Mare offices.

About The Candidate

To be successful in your application for the role of Service Charge Project – Graduate Data analyst & Researcher, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 1 role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience:

  •  A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Economics, Business, or a related discipline).
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, SEQUEL, Tableau).
  •  Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project environment.
  •  Project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  •  Ability to determine priorities and delegate effectively and successfully using own initiative.
  •  Desirable: Understanding of the purpose and aims of LiveWest and the wider affordable housing sector.
  •  Desirable: Good understanding of current UK social policy, together with associated key issues and trends.
  •  Desirable: Interest in housing, property management, or public sector service delivery.
