About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for our busy programmes team in our Corporate Services team.

As a Project Manager, you will be working as part of the Programmes team.

Key Responsibilities: 
 
  • Work within our agreed programme and project management framework to ensure that projects are delivered on time within budget and to the required quality, meeting customer and business requirements and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Responsible for the full project life-cycle, including project initiation, production of project plans and other documentation, risk and issue management, budget management, monthly reporting and communication, as well as business readiness activity to support implementation and successful embedding of the changes being delivered. 
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring that they are effectively consulted and communicated with throughout.

On a day to day basis, you will act as the point of contact for liaising with project sponsors, stakeholders and team members, as well as external suppliers, to ensure that project resources are effectively coordinated and project objectives are met.

We have 1 position available, and you can be based in any of our 3 main offices. A hybrid way of working is available with 2 - 3 days in the office, dependent on business need. This is a full time, permanent position, working 37 hours a week.

About The Candidate

To be successful in your application for the role of Project Manager - Programmes, you will have the essential skills and experience for a Level 1 role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role‑specific skills and experience:

 
Essential:
  • Experience of delivering and developing complex projects.
  •  Demonstrable budget planning, reporting and management skills.
  •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  •  The ability to prioritise and adapt to change.
  •  A good level of literacy and numeracy.
  •  Recognised project or change management qualification (or actively working towards).
Desirable:
  • Membership of recognised professional body (e.g. Association of Project Management).
