About The Role

As a Coordinator in our Rent and Revenues team, you’ll provide high‑quality administrative and coordination support that helps us deliver an effective income service to our customers and colleagues across LiveWest. You’ll play a key role in supporting rent collection activity, maintaining accurate records and providing a professional, customer‑focused first point of contact.

You’ll work closely with the wider Income team and the Rent and Revenues Manager, helping to ensure rent processes run smoothly and in line with our policies and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Income team with rent arrears and former debt recovery, including managing a small patch of arrears.
  • Providing a first‑line response to customer and colleague enquiries by phone, email and letter, including managing shared inboxes.
  • Processing financial transactions such as invoices, refunds, direct debits and account transfers accurately and on time.
  • Supporting annual rent and service charge reviews, including preparing and issuing rent review letters.
  • Maintaining accurate records on housing and income systems, including housing benefit and Universal Credit updates.
  • Liaising with local authorities and the Department for Work and Pensions to ensure timely and accurate information sharing.
  • Supporting tenancy end processes to ensure arrears are cleared and records are up to date.
  • Contributing to ad‑hoc projects and service improvements within the Rent and Revenues team.

This is a full time role working 37 hours per week, on a fixed‑term contract until May 2027. For internal colleagues this will be a Secondment opportunity. Hybrid working is available for this role, working 2–3 days in the office dependent on business need.

You will be based from one of our Tolvaddon, Exeter or Weston‑super‑Mare offices.

About The Candidate

To be successful in your application for the role of Coordinator - Rent and Revenues, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 1 role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience:

Essential skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications:
 
  • Ability to provide a professional and customer‑focused service, including responding to enquiries by phone, email and letter.
  •  Good administrative skills with strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
  •  Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  •  Confidence in dealing with customers, including handling challenging or sensitive situations.
  •  Good level of literacy and numeracy.
  •  Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
  •  Competent IT skills and experience using computer‑based systems.

Desirable skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications:

  • Experience of working in a housing association or housing‑related environment.
  • Experience of working in a customer service or office‑based role.
  • Experience of supporting income, rent or revenue‑related processes.
  • Experience of handling complaints or complex customer enquiries.
  • CIH‑related qualification, or equivalent experience gained through study and work.
