About The Role

As Group IT Director – Enterprise Resource Planning, you’ll be a senior technology leader responsible for the strategic direction, delivery and continuous improvement of our Microsoft Dynamics ERP landscape. This includes Finance & Operations, Customer Experience, Enterprise Asset Management and wider Dynamics 365 applications.
 
You’ll ensure our ERP ecosystem effectively supports business operations, enables digital transformation and aligns with Bromford Flagship LiveWest’s long‑term goals. Acting as a key conduit between business leaders, technology teams and external partners, you’ll provide assurance, insight and leadership across a complex and critical technology landscape.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the ERP function and setting the strategic direction for the Microsoft Dynamics platform, ensuring scalability, resilience and long‑term value.
  • Being accountable for the successful delivery of ERP programmes and projects, ensuring agreed business outcomes are achieved.
  • Overseeing the availability, performance, security and continuous improvement of the ERP environment.
  • Directing end‑to‑end programme delivery, from solution design through development, testing and implementation.
  • Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing clear reporting, advice and assurance to support decision‑making.
  • Championing customer‑centric and colleague‑focused service delivery in all solution design and prioritisation.
  • Managing significant budgets, resources and suppliers, ensuring strong governance, risk management and value for money.
  • Providing inspirational leadership, developing high‑performing teams and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

This is a full time, permanent role working 37 hours per week.

Hybrid working is available for this role, working 2–3 days in the office dependent on business need. You can be based across our Bromford Flagship LiveWest regions, including Tolvaddon, Weston‑super‑Mare, Exeter, Tewksbury or Norwich

About The Candidate

To be successful in your application for the role of Group IT Director - Enterprise Resource Planning , you will have the following role specific skills and experience:

Essential Experience and Qualifications:
 
  • Deep expertise in ERP architecture, business process design and enterprise application ecosystems.
  • Proven experience delivering large‑scale ERP implementations or modernisation programmes.
  • Strong understanding of integrations, APIs, middleware and Microsoft Azure services.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing and reporting skills.
  • Strong vendor and supplier management capability, including commercial negotiation.
  • Experience managing multi‑million‑pound budgets with effective financial and risk controls.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in complex, matrix environments to deliver shared objectives.
  • Strong business insight and the ability to align technology solutions with organisational priorities.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to managing risk and resolving complex issues.
  • Degree or equivalent professional experience.
